Extracurricular Activities

We are happy to offer several extracurricular activities for our students. Below are some of the clubs and sports offered each year. Most of our activities are parent-sponsored. If you have questions or are interested sponsoring a club, sport, or group, please contact our front office or our Extracurricular Activities committee chair Kim Sabus.

Student Council

Student Council is available for all students in grades 2 through 5.  All classrooms will have a student council representative elected from their class. There are also 4 elected student body officers.

The student council helps with different activities throughout the year.  It is a great way for students and parents to get involved!

First Lego League (Lego Robotics)

There are three levels of First Lego League offered to students in Kindergarten, Grades 1-3, and Grades 4 & 5.

Students will be divided into teams of 6 or fewer for Kinder – 3rd and 10 for the 4th & 5th grade team. The teams will work on projects in the fall months culminating in the state competition.

Good News Club

Good News Club® meets each Tuesday from 3:30 – 5:30 in the Library. All boys & girls ages 5-12, regardless of religious backgrounds, are welcome to attend with parental permission. You can get a permission slip in the office or download one here. Each week children hear Bible lessons and missionary stories; learn memory verses, moral values, character qualities, and respect for authority; play games; and sing fun action songs. Clubs are taught by specially trained Christians concerned for the spiritual well-being of your child and have been thoroughly screened providing a safe environment. Parents are welcome to attend with their child.

4th & 5th Grade Sports

Our after-school sports are organized through the Casper Recreation Center. Volleyball runs in the fall, followed by girl’s basketball and boy’s basketball in the winter. Cost is around $15. These extra-curricular sports rely on parent volunteers to coach. To learn more about these programs – including registration deadlines – visit the Casper Rec Center website.
