I moved to Casper when I was in fourth grade after moving around quite a bit…the rest of my family were born and raised here. I have four children, Simon, Emma, Jack, and Nicholas, and my husband, Richard, is a third grade teacher at St. Anthony Tri-Parish School. We also have a border collie/blue heeler named Abby and a kitty named Oliver. All of my children have attended FCA. My oldest son and I began at Fort Caspar Academy together in the fall of 2000. Previous to FCA, I taught at Grant Elementary for seven years. I am very blessed to be teaching at our school! I chose to teach at FCA because of the back-to-basics philosophy, Spalding, Saxon, Core Knowledge, and the compassion and patience shown our children while they are learning with the high expectations set for them. Leading students in reaching these high expectations is my passion! I received my teaching degree from the University of Wyoming/Casper College and my Master’s Degree in Education from Grand Canyon University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time camping with my family, attending my kids’ sporting and school events, reading, and watching movies. Thank you for letting me be a small part of your child’s learning journey.
