Parent Facilitator: Angie SchraderThe FCA Student Council was borne out the idea that students should be living out the core virtues that we learn in the classroom; -compassion, responsibility, perseverance, courage, generosity- in service to their school and community. In developing tomorrow’s leaders we need to also give students a chance to lead today.
Student Council is available for all students in grades 2 through 5. All classrooms will have a student council representative elected from their class. The student council helps with different activities throughout the year. It is a great way for students and parents to get involved!
Each council is able to choose their own activities. Some activities that Student Council has sponsored in the past are:
- Kindness week
- School Store
- Talent Show
- Donuts for Dads/Muffins for Moms
- Spirit Days
- Staff Appreciation Breakfast
- Pennies for Patients
- Canstruction event for Food for Thought
