Community Events

At Fort Caspar Academy, we hold a variety of events year-round for our community to come together. Some of these events help us practice our Core Virtues, some honor important people in our lives, and some are just plain fun!

Charger Challenge

At Fort Caspar Academy, we encourage our students to learn the value of giving back to their community.  As part of this commitment, we hold an annual fundraiser known as the Charger Challenge and donate 100% of the proceeds to a local charity to benefit our local community.

The Charger Challenge consists of a 5K Run/Walk, a Family Adventure Course, Pancake Breakfast, and Raffle Prize Drawing. Each class at FCA puts together a themed basket for the raffle, and we also have other raffle prizes that have been donated by businesses and individuals. We ask you to consider donating an item, gift certificate etc. to be used as a raffle prize and/or money to help purchase “big ticket” raffle prizes. Checks should be payable to Fort Caspar Academy with Charger Challenge in the memo field. We can provide a receipt for your tax purposes.

Drives

Different grade levels host some sort of drive as the year goes on, from our November canned food drive, to a hat and mitten drive in December. Living out the virtue of generosity, and giving back to our community, is part of who we are.

Veterans Day

Each year our school comes together on Veteran’s Day to celebrate those who have served our country. Students learn about the different branches of the military and what it means to be a veteran. Veterans from our community are invited to be honored and celebrated.

Kids at Last Blast

Hero Day

Near the end of the year, each student at Fort Caspar Academy choses a historical figure whom he/she looks up to as a hero. In class they learn about what makes someone a hero, and students research and learn about their hero. On Hero Day, students can come dressed up as their hero, and ready to share all that they have learned about them.

And more…

Our school community comes together for events and fundraisers such as our family movie nights, typically held in Fall and Spring, Bingo for Books, our Cornhole Tournament, and our Last Blast celebration at the end of the year.
